what is individual renter liable for if he does not deduct TDS on rent. In this case renter does not take deduction for rent.

Individual renter is liable to deuct TDS only when he is Income is liable for Tax Audit.

I don't agree with Vaibhav completely. But if rent payer is not getting any tax benefit of rent paid than he need not deduct TDS.
