Andha Kanoon Hai . so withought any evidence you can not do any thing. be cool and take back his sister. and keep silent.  After some time, if her husband recall to her then send after written that he will give full respect to his wife.

but it will take minimum one and half year time.

yeah...i wil definetely   sir.....i would advise my sister to tell husband to write on piece of paper tht they will never do it again signed by inlaws if they did then they should be ready to face the consequences....thnxxss Ram Avtaar Ji for your valuable advise.....

If I am right there is an Act called Prevention Atrocities against House-hold Women Act which can book such people with non-bailable warrant.

First, she needs to start working if she is unemployed, and be financially independent. Let time pass, and if nothing happens, then she can choose to file for divorce and get back the child since its only 1 year old. Yes, divorce is not a good idea but then again, if there is no scope of any reconciliation at all, it is better for the whole family to go their separate ways..... peacefully of course.
