We had placed an import order for some machinery but instead of delivery at ICD bangalore , supplier is telling he will supply to ICD Nava Shiva Port Mumbai, custom clearance will done at mumbia and get machinery transported to bangalore. now since material will be coming from Mumbai will i have to pay Entry Tax or VAT during entry to karnataka state?
Thank you , i have one more query , do i have to pay both or just of the tax, which one will be applicable. . As Entry Tax is 2% or else VAT is 14.5% . which one do we have to pay.
