Itr2 xml not generating

Sir,

I am filling up ITR2, and able to validate all pages except the IT page where we fill up the self assessment tax paid details. I paid the self assessment tax today-25/07/2013 on line through sbi net banking and got the confirmation and the challan receipt. and after filling the BSR, AND CHALLAN details in the IT sheet when i tried to validate it is not validating giving a pop up window saying that the date cannot exceed today's or the verification date. Hence I am not able to generate the xml.

Can somebody help?

Dear Mathivanan ji,

it may be possible that you are feeding the wrong date, coz pop up is showing that he date cannot exceed today's or the verification date. If you are feeding right date, as per my view you should set aside this filing for a while. File this return after some time or tomorrow. May be it will generate your xml file.

Pls do reply me if u ll succeed in your work.

in part-b general sheet- in verification area u put an earlier date please do rectified and generated XML.

i hope xml will be generated

Sir,

Thanks for the feed back and advice.

The problem is solved and the mistake i had done was that the date filled in the verification section was of earlier date.once I corrected to the today's date it was alright.
