Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies which Income Tax Return (ITR) form to use. It addresses scenarios for contract nurses with TDS under 194JB (likely a typo for 194J), suggesting ITR 3 or ITR 4 for presumptive income. It also covers issues with claiming relief under Section 89 when Form 10E is filed after the ITR, advising on potential revision options.
Submitted my ITR before submission of Form 10E, relief under sec89 not given by income tax dept, as per ITR FORM 10E CALCULATIONS MY REFUND IS 14000+ BUT INCOME TAX DEPT GAVE ME REFUND OF ONLY 1000, NOW I SUBMITTED MY 10E FORM, WHAT ARE OPTIONS AVAILABLE TO ME TO CLAIM 14000+ REFUND .. The person is an individual, working under an institution, she is a salaried person, whether she is on contract or permanent basis. she should file ITR 1 Now, come to section under tds deducted, there is no any section 194JB, it's 194J. Please revise your questions.
