Quick Summary
This discussion addresses urgent queries regarding ITR filing for a private limited company incorporated in FY 2018-19, which has missed the deadline for AY 2019-20. The company has a turnover exceeding 2 crores and pending tax and statutory audits. The key concern is whether the return can be filed without the audits, given the approaching deadline. Advice suggests completing both audits promptly, as filing without them is not permissible. The consequences of non-compliance, including potential penalties of up to ₹1.5 lakhs, are also discussed, along with options for filing after the due date.

Get the statutory audit and tax audit done. Return cannot be filed without audit. If management supports, then it can be done in 4 days also I.e by 30th Sept.
But our CA not responding.
What is penalty and other consequences, if we are not able file income tax return and tax audit within this due date ?
Penalty of 1.5 lakhs already will be charged during scrutiny proceedings for non filing of tax audit report within time even if you file before 30th sept 2020.
After September can we Mannualy file income tax return with deportment ? or we have to wait for non filing notice and than file against that notice.
What is penalty for non filing ITR?
