MY QUERY IS ONE OF MY FRIEND HE IS SALARY PERSON. IN HIS SALARY DEDUCT TDS OF FOR THE F.Y. 2017 - 18 BY EMPLOYEE. MY QUESTION NOW HE FILED THE RETURN BUT IN DECLARATION HE NOT SHOW INVESTMENT IN SHARE. HE ONLY SHOW LIC, MEDICLAIM & EMPLOYEE DEDUCT TDS AS PER HIS DECLARATION.
NOW HE FILE ITR SO WHICH ITR FILE 1 OR 2. YA AS PER FORM 16 HE FILE ITR.
IF HE FILE ITR AS PER FORM 16 OR OTHER WISE AS PER HIS INVESTMENT IN SHARE ANY PROBLEM IN AFTER FILED ITR.
PLEASE GIVE ME GUIDELINE FOR THIS.

I think there is no problem if you show investment other than shown in form 16 as it is not necessary everything should match with form 16 if you want you can show but before that check whether such investment is eligible for deduction or not.
