Dear fellas,
I have a query which hopefully you may resolve.
An Assessee has lost his ITR Acknowledgements of the last five assessment years.
Then, he was in Jaipur, doing business.
Now, this year, he has shifted to New Delhi.
To request to his ITO in Jaipur, can he approach by Internet as he is unable to go all the way to Jaipur in person.
Please help.

IF HAS FILED ONLINE THEN HE CAN GET FROM INCOME TAX SITE, BUT WITHOUT SEAL....YOU NEED SEAL FOR THAT TO GIVE FOR ANYBODY NA...HE SHOULD GO THERE FOR THAT.....

As i seen your problem, there is one solution by which you can get releif from your problem for your client i.e. in every Govt department there should be an OMBUDSMAN according to investor Protection Act which is supposed to solve the problem & try to make amicable relation between the parties. Either you contact him in Jaipur Income Tax Deptt or If you have filled your clients return online for last three asssessment year take copy of them and lastly if no solution come out then personally approach the income tax officer to help you out.
