Good Morning to all members of the Forum.
I am back now with more information about my efforts to use the ITR-2 AY25-26 Version 1.0
Today, restarted the exercise with Win 7 Sp1, Excel 2016, 32 Bit. On Lenovo Thinkpad X230.
The Utility file is 32 Bit obviously, otherwise my Excel 2016 32 Bit would not be able to open the utility.
My requirements are -
General, CG, IT, TDS, OS, AL, TI_TTI, Verification, and CYLA_BFLA only.
I made all except the above No No in Home Sheet First.
All data manually entered. Prefilling data had created issues and I had to discard the complete file.
After filling data in Each sheet, did validation till it said that the sheet is OK, before moving onto next sheet.
Finally completed tax calculations and as known from Cs26kit input, manually reverified the tax calculations. Calculations done by the Utility checked out OK.
Next commenced json creation. Everything progressed normally. Finally the page opened for Save JSON.
Tried to save JSON. Could not save. Error message appeared:-
Microsoft Visual Basics For Applications - Compile Error In Hidden Module: GenerateJson. This Error Occurs When code is incompatible with the version, platform, or Architecture of this application. Click Help for information on how to correct this error.
Clicked on Help , and following Pop Up Message came
Microsoft Excel Security Warning. Certificate Error. The application encountered an internal error loading the SSL libraries.
Googled for the last pop up about SSL Libraries. M S Forum came, too many complaints by many about encountering this SSL Error.
I wrote in the begining, my machine is Thinkpad X230, there is Trusted Platform chip in the motherboard. So clueless at this moment.
Only achhieved calculation of Self Assessment Tax, which came to a hefty figure. Have to concentrate on arranging funds for paying this SAT.
And leaving any further investigations on ITR-2 Excel Utility Ver 1.0 for now.
Hoping Infosys staff looking at this GuineaPig's inputs and will take necessary steps to help file our return on time.
