We are a IRON MOULD manufacturing company. For HEAT TREATMENT purpose we are sending  some material to another party against our job work challan. After comple Heat Treatment Party return the material and raised a LABOUR CHARGE INVOICE (Including GST)

So our question is it is madatory to fillup ITC04 Form in gst

1)WHEN GOOD SENT TO JOBWORKER

2) GOOD RECEIVED BACK FROM JOBWORKER

 

Details of inputs/capital goods sent for job-work

Various details must be mentioned such as GSTIN, challan number, tax amount etc. All details will be available from the challans.

Goods received back from job worker or sent out from business place of job-work

The details of goods received back will be mentioned here. The goods may be received by the principal or sent to another job worker directly from the first job worker’s place of business.

 

All details of original challans and new challans must be mentioned.

what is the meaning of Original challan no.?

From my opinion, Original challan is the challan issued by the manufacturer at the time of goods sent to job worker for job work.

 

We (Register Delear in GST at west bengal state ) sent some STEEL for HEAT TREATMENT purpose to XYZ COMPANY ( Register Delear in GST at west bengal state) against our CHALLAN No. PD/JW/018/17-18 DT. 08/08/2017 , QTY- 10 PCS (i.e 500 kgs) , TAXABLE VALUE Rs. 30152.00, gst rate 18%

After HEAT TREATMENT work finished XYZ COMAPNY return back STEEL to us against his Challan No. XYZ/008, Dt. 30/08/2017,Qty -10 PCS( i.e. 503 Kgs.)  & Invoice No. 005 ,Dt. 30/08/2017, Bill amount. Rs. 826.00 (for Labour Charge Only) (TAXBLE VALUE Rs, 700.00+ TAX 126.00)

please fillup above details for our example purpose which help us for fillup ITC04 form.
