If we have to go our jurisdiction office after filing online application of refund then what does online processing of refund mean?

Actually you are right in saying that, however there are still some technical issue in implementation of the same and it would take time.

In our case, we did face the same issue, that after filing redund claim there was no intimation from deptt for some time. but when we visited the office , we got to know that officer are still not able to upload the DM considering only 5 mb file can be uploadeda on portal.

so there are issues and it would take some time dear.
