I want to know whether company can take ITC of premium paid for insurance policy of employees??

Yes... Company can claim such ITC.
No..... it's block Under 17 (5) , .... yes as per proviso you can claim ITC only when it is obligatory for an employer to provide the same to employee under any law for the time being
No the company cannot claim ITC.. It is blocked credit. It is ineligible.
Where is it blocked...?! Can You give the provisions or act...?!
