Can I file the IT Return of a friend manually for A.Y. 07-08 ?
He is a salaried individual and TDS has been deducted by his company, making the tax liability nil ...
Please Advise.

File it online itslef and file it in department..
no.... you can't file the return now........ the last date for filing return of A.Y. 07-08 was 31st March, 2009...... that was so with penalty of Rs. 5000........
Oh yes, sorry its AY, i thought Fy..you cant file now, the date is over.FY 2006-07 can file within march 2009, so date is over...You have to pay penalty if you going to file now that to if they accept now...
