Issue of duplicate shares

I have been gone throw various application of transfer of share. As I m assuming registrar is link intime pvt ltd.

01. You were not mentioned certificate number and disctive numbers of your physical shares held in police complaint..this is absolute incorrect step was taken by you. Share holder must have this basic information of shares held by him/her.

If you have not such information then you can simply apply/approach registrar of that company and request them to give such information by identification that, you are the owner of the share. Many of times, people comes to know about their old holding when company intimate about the dividend,split,bonus or etc..so If you have any of this proof then approach registrar of the company get the data of your holding.

02. Yes, same problem as discribe in point number 1. It is mandatory to write and publish advert. in news paper as per the formate of registrar.

We have discussed this issue with many registrar and if you have power to control then you can talk with registrar and request them to avoid this requirement of the share transfer procedure. We don't fill this requirement of share transfer and transfer will done. However you should convey to registrat in smart way.

Note: All the communication regarding information of holding and transfer of share must be done with registrar of the company only. Corporate company office will not face any issue regarding the same. It should be noted because many share holders are first approach the company and it results into waste of time. .

Publish share certificate lost ad in 2 newspapers. You will get the format from publicnoticeads.in

Usually a time limit of 14 - 15 days for claim is mentioned in the ad from the date of publication. If no claim or objection is received by the society the society issues duplicate share certificate

But no, I don't think it is normal to have to involve the police.
