Hi friends , i am quite depressed with the maks i got in ISCA this May-14 (got only 42 wen i was expecting ATLEAST Exemption based on the experiences from past 3 attempts)
I had written all answers as per institute's material only
On one side,the institute recommends to adhere strictly to the institute's material and on the other side they dont give marks commensurate with the answers
Kindly suggest what to do ?

You should ask for a copy of your answersheet as per the mechanism..spot out where u were lacking..

Dear Himanshu Sir, i hav already applied for the Certified Copies (as i had done for last 3 attempts)
Last time (Nov-13) i had scored 41 by attempting just 64 marks in Total
and of that 64 , anwers of only about 40-45 marks were written as per the Exact Language/Points of the institute material, and for the remaining answers i had used my own words & language
By observing the certified copies that i hav procurred in the past 3 attempts, it appears to me that they are giving 2/6 or 3/6 marks just randomly irrespective of the language/Points we write
I strongly feel that they must give more marks to the students who are writing the answers as per the institute's study material
Sir , also if u have any idea about how effective the ISCA Book by author Devang Dalal is ?
I went through it and found that almost all the Answers (atleast the ones from the Old syllabus) were as per the institute material's language and even the 'Points' were the same
Yes, even I have heard about the irregularities in checking..
This was my first attempt and I have passed through first group, but struked badly in ISCA.
I was not well prepared for the subject, will be preparing only from study material now..
I havent heard of the author you are referring..
And Pls dont refer me as "Sir" , I am one among you :) A..still a student with group 2 pending..
