ca exam norms are are clear you have to get 40 in all subject and 400 in total so a person has to cross both milestone

ITS TOTALLY UNFAIR ON PART OF OUR INSTITUTE.... BUT ONE CAN DO NOTHING EXCEPT TO ACCEPT THE RESULT.

ANYWAYS I M SURE IF THIS IS THE CASE THE FAILING GUY HAS THE ABILITY TO GET RANK IN NEXT ATTEMPT FOR SURE ..

this matter is facing lots of discussions in another forum too! It is really unfair that a bright student who has achieved so good marks in all of the "relevant" papers has not been able to pass in isca, if the institute should have let her pass she would have got 9th rank!

Yes, i too agree with u uttam,

But eligibilty criteria to get rank is perfectly known to all of us. So, we have balance all the papers.

Many students will score 220+ in gr1 or 400+ in aggregate but fails in gr2.

They have to wait till next attempt, same logic exists in this case also.

What justification do you want? She failed in ISCA, thats it. Do you want ICAI to promote her in ISCA on the basis of the marks in other subjects?
