I am doing my Bcom from ignou as correspondence which has been engaged as MOU by ICAI. I was wondering whether the degree which i will get from IGNOU will be valid for pursuing Post graduate courses like CFA / MBA or applying in a foreign university.
Please do reply me on this. It is really important for me and others too.
even i want to know about this coz i wanna do CFA from usa.It's hard to get eligible for US universities for PG programmes coz they require 4 year regular college.When i had inquired with several CPA state organs of usa, they refused.U can do mba from india.
Have u already got degree certificate from ignou?
if u haven't started this course, better not join it.I am a victim of this,somewhat.

Unfotunately i have also joined it. But i am still to appear my exams.
Please somebody advise us on the matter.

Hey.. I had a similar query. I enquired about the same with one of the CFA coaching institute in Bangalore.They confirmed to me that I can apply for CFA [USA] with the BCOM [A&F] degree from IGNOU.
Well, this is what they told we. I couldn't cross check the authenticity of the answer that I got. So, if anyone could throw more light into this, would be helpful.
