Hi Guys,

I will be attempting Nov-14 Ipcc exams for group 1. I have not touched taxation from last 1 year so i need a complete new book for preparation..I am confused among V.K Singhania, Girish Ahuja, T.N Manoharan and M.K Gupta book..plzzzz suggest which is better??

V K Singhania is very vast

Girish Ahuja will give Practical application and knowledge

T N Manoharan very simple language

But for Indirect Tax Rafi (from bharat publication) is best one

First read Institute Module, the go for V.K.Singhania . Also see past years papers.

First you need to find out the area of focus

like salary is important from IPCC pov but nt from final POV

than go through institute module, clear ur concept by solving singhania n dont forgt to solve RTP and other materials provided by the Institute

I think padhuka is also good as it covers both theoretical as well as practical questions

My Friend, One thing u can do is go in the Book Stores & take the books of all author. Then read the same chap frm all bks, then u only decide which bks is better fr u
