Investment banking or a manufacturing company

I am a Chartered Accountant and a Cost Accountant with 2 yrs. post qualification industry experience, right now working in a manfacturing organization worth 400 cr. company. Recently I got an opportunity of working in an Investment Banking firm, but the issue is the company is a startup one, What are the potentials cum future prospects in Investment Banking if i switch the company, What should i do at the moment. Can anyone guide me please. ?

Change of job profile is most times construed to be a risky proposition. If you feel that the new venture is going to provide you long term returns, then you may give it a try. Since you are also a cost accountant, going back to manufacturing set up at a later date will not hamper your prospects drastically.
Dear Mr.Satish Thanks for the advice, but IB will be new to me returns are good in IB, am doing well in present co, In case by any reason i had to go back to manufacturing sector on the basis of CWA degree would be enough ? won't they ask for experience ?
