Hey,

As per your interest in LLB, the entry requirements for this is LLB.

There are few universities available for providing LLB course through distance learning, these universities are:
National Law School of India University Icfai University,
Annamalai University Directorate of Distance Education
Kurukshetra University Directorate of Distance Education
Acharya Nagarjuna University Centre for Distance Education
Mahatma Gandhi University School of Distance Education

For more information log on LAW courses through distance learning.

thnx for informing abt the colleges/universities.............

Cud u plz tell me wat kind of specilization are dere in LLB........Is their any specialization related to Company law or any other law which is compatible with CA??

If you want to put your footprints in Company law along with other corporate related assignments, go for CS. By doing CS you will have an edge in corporate sector along with your CA. Moreover, CS is a professional course and will be compatible with CA.

Both CA and CS wil prove highly beneficial in terms of knowledge growth and your career graph.

thnx 4 ur reply Mr Ahmed.........i sincerely appreciate ur efforts...........

In this regard i want to ask 1 thing wat will happen to my articleship of CA......bcoz in CS v also have training period.........how can i pursue both at same time.............pls lemme know if u hav any info......

You are right that in CS training is there. All you need is little planning of your career. In CS articleship of 15months can be done after 2nd stage(executive) or after Final of CS.

In your case as you are doing CA , continue with your CA articleship and side by side finish off all the stages of CS  exams. Once you finsh your CA articleship, you can start with CS articleship. Even if you don't do CS articleship, you will get certificate for CS(licenciate). Its recommended to do CS articleship to acquire knack of corporate matters.

as far as LLB open learning...just a wastage of time...bcse u can't practice Law...u have to it from Reglar college...me also searching for LLB...i have just appeared for CA IPCC..i live in east delhi...either u hide it from ICAI ...rest u have to manage with ur CA...many people do this...they hide from ICAI...so tell where do u live...

@ Prateek..............thnx for that meaningful and realistic reply i put up in west delhi..............even i have heard abt such regular colleges wher u can pursue law without attendin regular classes...........but i m nt aware of such colleges precisely..........so kindly lemme know if u know abt them........

Hi! which place are you from? I am doing my LLB full time course along with my CA Final. Of course i have already completed my articles. However, my college is flexible in terms of attendence for working professionals. Most of the time i just have to go during exams only.

There are some colleges who provide the 3yr LLB course from morning 7 to 9.30. you can check them out. you can attend articles after LLB classes. Howerever you need the permission of the ICAI to do the additional course.

It depends on what you want to do in future. A correspondance LLB gives you only some general knowledge of all the laws. If you want to practise Law, then you will have to take a full time course. If you are looking to getting into practise, and if you are not too confident of clearing CA fast, then take up full time LLB in a college where they are flexible with attendence. If u clear LLB faster than CA, you can still join a CA firm as Partner.

In terms of Specialization, in a general LLB degree, there are no specialization as such. Its more like you choose a subject and specialize while practising Law. You cover all the major aspects of Law in LLB and its quite interesting.

The Law papers that we study in CA and LLB seems a little different. in the sense, in LLB, the subjects are really outdated. The Latest ammendments are not covered. Unless of course if you are studying from NAtional Law School. For eg., Taxation Law, the teacher in our college was refering to Income Tax Act and Finance Act for A.Y. 2002-03 when my exams were in 2009. Of course, the questions in LLB are more focused on definitions and concepts. There is no computation. Similarly, in case of interpretation of Statutes, the questions that we get in CA for 5 marks come for 20 marks in LLB. We need to write rally long stories in LLB. But never the less, it gets very interesting.

Im doing my LLB from Bangalore University.
