I think CA is a course where ICAI can not do much on ur development front so we have to on our own can craft nieche n stay ahead..generally many students confused whether to join small,medium or large firm for Articleship Training..the standard response to them from me choose big firm over medium sized firms or choose medium sized firm over small firms..Big firm will give u Much more 'Pressure' which is good for ur future n also pay u decent stipend unlike small firms..Generally many remain confused that only Big 4 pay high stipend is a myth..even top big firms like BDO-Haribhakti-mumbai,Lodha-delhi also pay very high stipend..i believe in small firm work is less n one can not learn enough computer related works..like SAP,Oracle in auditing,reviews..more follows........
