For FY 2025-26, the relevant Assessment Year is AY 2026-27. Filing will be possible once the applicable ITR utility/form is enabled on the income-tax e-filing portal. Forms are being notified, but practically it is better to file after Form 16/AIS/TIS/26AS are fully updated, generally after mid-June. Normal due date for non-audit cases is 31 July 2026, subject to any extension.
