Implication of gst on construction of roads
Currently there is exemption for road construction work under service tax. What is the status under GST?

There is no exemption in gst as of now.
It will now be treated as works contract. Rate will be 18%

But on exemption on water supply Sewerage lines and other four or five catogeries Will be continued or not as the exemption on road work have been already withdrawn from Ist April 2015

In easy language turnover means sales
If it is more than 20 lakhs registration is required.

or As I was paying them their labour charge...it would continue just like that??

Are the labours on your payroll?
They are regular my labors
I take my fees from Municipal corporations or contractors & then pay them
If you can prove they are your employees then no gst on labour charges. If they are not your employees then gst have to be paid on reverse charge mechanism.
How can I prove that they are my Employees!??
