As you all are aware that IFRS in India are applicable from 1 April 2011 per criteria as mentioned above, there will be a huge demand for IFRS professionals as soon as the companies and CA firms gets free from the Tax audit timelines i.e. 30 sep 2010.

I  have  undergone  IFRS  training  through  Piron  Education(lectures  on  video) for  80  hours  and  successfully  completed  IFRS  Diploma  from  ACCA,UK. I  found  the  entire  training  sessions  quite  exhaustive  and  covers  the  entire  Diploma  course  in  depth. Some big-4 firms also do that, I believe. You can also try out Mr Bhave's training programme (he has practical experience of implementation in India and abroad). He conducts it in the name of ConsultIFRS which is gold parter for Diploma course on IFRS from ACCA, London. The classes are conducted in Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Pune. The total cost should be around 35K including diploma course fees. I am also planning to do this course after completing 2 years practical experience eligibility criteria. Articleship is counted for this 2 years period.
