Icici bank selection process

Any way, I have received the offer letter yesterday ie on 6th September...

What grade has been offered. Are u 1st attempt CA. Do u have experience.

I don't have any experience & cleared in 2nd attempt. So got AM2 grade.

For 1st attempt, they r offering M1 grade

only first attempt is given M1. ICICI Bank is not a place for CA's. u will find widespread discrimination between IIM Grads and CA's. What profile have you been offered. If you dont have any other alternative, only then you may think of joining ICICI.

Dear Sridhar, I dont think so. The garde different is only for pay scale. We all are getting the same designation, Credit Manager. They are rarely recruiting 1st attempt CAs.

Credit Manager is a powerful job. Also, if we have an attitude & interest, its a best place..

can u tell me what is ur salary packg for the credit manager post.. and for which credit manager post i.e. home loan, personal loan, cc/od loan credit manager?

At starting, CTC for Credit Manager at AM2 grade will be 5.13 laks per annum. Monthly take home will be around 33pm. Apart from that you will get an yearly Bonus also

At banks do they fix pay scale/grade based on attmpts? If u clear in 1st attempt would it make a significant difference in a bank job?

In ICICI Bank, they are giving scale/grade to CA Freshers based on attempt.

For first attempt CAs, they are giving M1 grade and for multiple attempt CAs they are giving AM2 grade

Interview will be very simple. You dont have to worry much.

For me , they had asked only about my experience in Bank Audit during articleship.

Apart from that they will first ask to make a personal introduction.

It will be very very simple..
