Hi Guddu Dont be panic, just send an email to the same person you sent the file by mistake and ask him to ignore that message and completely delete the file from his computer and delete that email completely from his inbox. I think thats it and from next time be careful. So dont worry and enjoy the Xmas and New Year. Good Luck. Yash Dave
Dear Guudu, I agree with Mr. Yash's statement. What you also need to do is to preserve a hard copy of sent mail which you sent to the person containing request for deleting the mail, so that you can make your defence in future, if something happens wrong.
hi, Just send a mail asking the person to delete the message and warning him of legal consequences in case he uses it for any purpose. Make a hardcopy of the mail and keep it with you. Always make sure to add a disclaimer statement at the end of you official mail.
I appreciate the responses made by all peoples. Thanks a lot, U saved me from a great truble. Thanks again.
This is in addition to the replies by other members. While sending a mail to the wrong receipient , please ensure that you digitally sign you email so that the receiver can not repudiate the mail. (cliam the non receipt of mail) the mail. This will be more authentic than taking a hardcopy print out of the mail sent to him.
