HRA exemption
If we dont have rent agreement, then on what documentation basis can we claim HRA exemption? and would such other documentation be sufficient enough even without rent agreement?

Though rent agreement is must, but one may claim HRA deduction based on
1. Bank statements confirming rent paid.
2. PAN and confirmation letter from property owner.
