I searched on nsdl website but different vervsion of RPU and FVU confused me. which are the latest versions and what is CIN file is it mandatory to uplod 

I dont have any tax software and I created ASCII file with the help of tally erp and now I want to validate it. now which software should i use

Hai Yasmeen Abbas. You may download NSDL RPU 2.8 which is the latest acceptable TDS software. which also contains latest FVU inbuilt. Uploading of CIN is very helpful in identifying the paid challans. Like this, many Registred software companies provide their own software on some cost. You may purchase them on thier website. As Mr.Neeraj told Computds is ok. It will give Form 27A, form 16A and more.You may find the software companies in NSDL websit.

I need to add something. This software may not work on Windows 7. For this, go to 'User Accounts Control Settings' in Control Panel and click 'Don't Notify'.

you can file online tds return directly to nsdl site ...they charging some annual fees

as for from software you can use Relyon software called saral tds for validating the fvu generated from tally or nsdl rpu
