How to decide between big4 firms and mid size firms?

hi,

i am applying for my articleship. 

should i opt for a big four firm or a mid sized firm?

in big four i am going to go to E&Y and KPMG for their tests and the procedure. i have heard they have long hours of work and you donot get time to study. is it true? 

please give me your opinion.

It depends on manager entirely. There are certain priveleges to girls. But ya ,they do have late sitting and all such issues.
