How to calculate log and antilog using clculator?

for calculating log & antilog throgh calculator 

there is a special calculator for log & antolog

But ,is scientific calculater allowed in CA exams?

@ neelam: no scientific calculators r not allowed in ca exams,but log and anti log can b calculated using simple calculator as well..........

@ satishji- log and antilog can b calculated using simple calculator, u can follow the undermentioned procedure

for finding log

1.write 2.7183

2.tap square root 12 times

3.deduct 1

4.press M+

5. write the no. of which u want to find log

6.tap square root 12 times

7. deduct 1

8.press  divide

9. press MRC

10. press =

answer will b in base e

if to find in base of 10 press multiply by 0.4343

for antilog

1. write the no.

2.tap divide by 0.4343

3.tap multiply by 0.00024417206

4. add 1

5.tap multiply and equal to 12 times simultaneously

i have no idea abt the calculater which bhavik sir has mentioned.............i only know abt the calculator which v r permitted to use in examination
