How to calculate capital gain without knowing date and value of acquisitions

Date and cost of acquisition will be considered as cost prevailing as on 1-4-2001
but I don't know value of the property
sir, pls tell me where i have to check my refund status? because i have checked in my itr id my account but the option not shown in the list. i have filed the return on 31.07.2016 (f.y 15-16) but yet the refund not received.
