My personal experience says that, communication is important in every aspect to avoid confusions and misunderstandings in offficial communications too.
In today times, most of the times we communicate with mails and letters, communication skills enables us to interpret the exact meaning which we want the other perosn to read and understand.

Good article. I completely agree on the point listening attentively is the best way to pick up
communication in any language.
Make it a habit to study good motivational books, newspapers, magazines like Competition Success
review etc;
" Reading Good books is like conversation with great men"
So always have the habit of reading one or other good book.
