I am software engineer, from last June 2010 i am getting 5,00007 LPA .Before that i am getting 3LPA.
Now how much is my income taxable, for which we need to show the proof of investment.
Please help urgent..

It appears that u earn 5L..
ur tax slabs are for AY 2011-12 are:
0-190000 - NIL
190000 - 500000 - 10%
500000 - 800000 - 20%
800000 + - 30%
assuming your taxable income is 500,000 (after deductions) then u need to pay 31000+930(cess)...
