How is attempt calculated

Heya guys.. I have my PCC first attempt in May 2010.. but somehow i am confident in one group only.. so either i have to appear for one group..

OR

i am thinking i do not appear for May attempt and delay it to November i.e. i appear for both the groups in November 2010..

Will it be considered as first attempt or second attempt?

another option is that i fill the examination form.. but i do not appear at all for May 10.. and appear for November 10 only.. i may say that i fell sick in May.. and therefore wasnt able to appear for the examination....

What do you guys think?

Hi mohammed, in first case, i.e going directly for november... then it will be surely considered as ur first attempt (though ur official attempt must be may)... So, thats for sure the first attempt for u...

Now, in 2nd option too, if u dont attain "any" exam after ur registeration, then u can go for another attempt with all the six subjects and get benefit of ranking.. So, considering this, i do believe, here too ur next attempt will be considered as 1st only

Hey Dhiraj..

thanx a lot for the valuable advice..

but other guys are saying that it will be counted as second attempt..

can u please hav a look at this
