If I am living with my elder brother in his house. Can I claim HRA deduction for rent payment???
Whether rent agreement is compulsory???
If I did not give earlier any rent proof to my employer and in Form-16 total HRA is taxable ,. can I now claim any HRA deduction in I T RETURN OF AY 2019-20???

if you are paying rent, you can claim
house is owned by big brother
you can not claim HRA if you are not paying any rent
I am living with my brother in his house. House is owned by brother. I am paid rent in cash to my brother. I am not submit any rent payment document to my employer. So he considere HRA taxable in Form 16. Now tell me can I claim HRA deduction in my IT Return???

Rent receipt is mandatory if you are paying rent more then 3000 pm
if rent payment is directed transferred in bank then???
normal rent receipt with stamp ticket of 1 Rs is ok OR rent agreement is required????
