the best way to retain is summarize what ever you learn...., and make as far as possible, revision daily..,

dont read only., use your pen and make charts & other dig.., so that tumhe sirf unko hi learn krna pde..,

Look what I do, I makes first list of chapters of all subject, then jo bhi me krta jata hu., usse tick krta jaata hu., jisse muze yaad rehta h ki haa ye ho guya., nd iss list se muze ye bhi ni lgta ki mera course bhut jyada h....

And dont think ki tumhe yaad ni rehta..,

Tumhe yaad to hota h., but tum use rewind ni kr paate., you need to write such topics....

This is all my thought., may be you will not be agree with them.., so if you feel these are useful, then try it.....

Dont Worry,

this happens to all of us.

You should read and forget.Read and forget.

Every successive reading brings down the reading time.Have you noticed this.

This is called learning curve phenomenon.

Finally when you do the last minute revision, a revision will take only 10% of the

time you took during the 1st time reading.

all the best.

Dear Priyanka,

As rightly said by Mr.Ravishankar above, it happens to all of us. So keep on revising. Definitely the points will flow in the exam hall. so dont lose ur confidence

Make short notes for the concepts while revising. Its better if u make flow charts of topics so that u can revise them easily. A few pages of short notes will really help u a lot in Exam time.

Dont be tense it happens with all but if u will study with a little concentration then definitely the points u have studied will flow in exam hall.

So, Be confident and start MISSION STUDY(SMART STUDY)

WISH U LUCK!!

Priyanka you can also involve many techniques which are familiar and almost inseparable from pur minds...like when u study points of CARO, you can make a balance sheet with all assets & liabilities. you will find that maximum items of CARO can be found in a regular B/S like Fixed assets, Inventory, Loans & advances , Contingent liability etc. in this way you can easily learn CARO and other topics also by comparing different formats and finding similiarities. In that process you can learn them without making an effort  to learn them. :)
