Help help help !!!!

To be very frank i will suggest to go for first group in may 12. See CA Final is not a jole.

As said by you that you are going to start the preparation right now....!!! As per me no one by starting preparation now can crack both the groups.

So my suggestion will be go for self study as you also dont have time to take classes even.

I differ in opinion from Sagar and Sanyam. I think that still its 8 months remaining for May 2012 Exams. If you study sincerely for even 6 months, i bet you can pass both groups in a single attempt. Also, you can take classes for subjects which are difficult for you, which would normally take 2-3 months time. But also study for other subjects also.

depands on individuals grassing power only.........one can show better result in limited period in both groups and another may be fail in single group in much time........it is depands on cash to cash basis we cannot give any advise to our friends....upto or if we didnot know him/her confidance and capablity.

If any one have any question on my opinion then put that for debate......

I have experiance only IPCC exam and giving fact example:-

My one friend cleared both group in 7 months with good mark and my another friend attempted single group 4th time and failed in the same period and i cleared only with mariginal marks with very hard work.

them how we can decide for other friends..........

but 09 months are enough for everage studant for both group if he/she is honest about his study.

The thing doesnt lies in our opinion. Just think as u said that your classes will be ending on march and you will have just april for the revesion.

My view will still remain the same dont go for both groups.

with due respect to all the opinions stated above i want to say something from my experience. firstly dont go for coaching for all subjects. have only for subjects like sfm or d.t or anyother you feel tough.

focus more on studying from modules and trying to have a good conceptual clarity. now the point left is single group or both?

well if you feel that u r weak in one grup then i would suggest go fr both grup as then aggregate would be considered. even i got benefit from this

rest you better know ur strengths and weakness. plan it accordingly..

No need to worry at all. I don't know how much time it will take. But one thing is sure you can easily crack both group in May 2012.

Use your PCC experience and never waste any time and you will surely succeed. Let me post some of study basics which is must to succeed:

THE BASICS OF STUDY

I would strongly suggest you all to stick to the basics of study to avoid further failure and ensure success. For me some basics of study are as follows:

In CS and CA exams scanner plays an imp role so base your study on scanner.

1.     Timely completion of course material—Very first basic thing is to finish your course to have better idea of course structure. This will also help you to prepare a good revision schedule along with study plan.

2.     Timely revision-- Another basic study point is to give ample emphasis to a good revision plan. There is nothing is this world which can substitute a good revision plan. To succeed revision is must.

3.     Ample amount of practice of Numerical [account and cost] questions-- One major reason of student failure is bad performance in practical questions. So ample amount of practice of Numerical [account and cost] questions is must along with perfect conceptual clarity.

4.     Right amount of theory preparation in practical subjects—Most of the students don’t give due value to the theory in the practical subject. So right amount of theory preparation in practical subjects is equally important. The best way to solve this issue is to prepare notes of frequently asked theory questions from Scanner.

5.     Selection of right books—Another basic point for good preparation is the selection of right reference books. So take help from your seniors in choosing right books.

6.     Good presentation of theory— Lack of good presentation especially in theory paper is one of the major drawbacks for most of the students. In theory subjects good presentation of theory is must along with mentioning case laws and sections etc. So I’d request you all to take note of the same.
