In my opinion u made a really big mistake it is minimum four year but in ralty it  take more than that and after u complete your CA the time will change and in present situation ca is not a good course to join because jobs are not for ca's so I advice u to step back or carry on with your job untill yours Artileship start.

Another option is u look for CS. A good combination of MBA and cs most look for that option.

Think about it.

Another think i forgot we should realize your responsibility towards family in term of salary and if u earning in range of Rs:20000/- per month or more then u wasting your time in entering in this course.

hey its not a blunder in my opinion, there is no need to quit ur job, u can always do it side by side,if u r fine wid the amt of hard wrk ca requires continue wid it otherwise continue wid ur job,and anyday ca is a very prestigious degree and many dream of it bt few get it,if u dont hv any other responsibility u can always gv it a chance atleast ur whole life u wont regret that u did not try for CA,.....................................without getting into sea u cannot know hw deep it is buddy...........it is never too late for anything........all the very best go for it,if u hv passion then dont stop....if u hv burning desire then 4 years r very small thing infront of  hvg CA degree.....................all the best go for it.................its not that tough,if others can get even u can and moreover u r mba finance u can even get thru in first attempt.....................jst aim for it and go for it................and leave rest to destiny.

v CAs (few of them) aspire for MBA after being CA so its jst other way round for u....................u r doing CA after MBA so not a big deal buddy....smiley

Totally Agree!

Your decision to join Ca corse should not affect your family in any way!

Best option for you is to start working and join Cost Accountancy Course (ICAI, erstwhile ICWAI). You will also get exemption from practical training based on your MBA working experience later on. For people in industry this is a better option and its scope is also increasing day by day and they are not less than a CA by any means.

if you want to do ca you must go for it

if your heart says...

because doing ca will not reduce anything it will increase your earning and i dont think cost accounting is a right choice because you have done mba in finance so you should do ca...

and please dont change you decision if anyone demotivates you because here you will be given many advices but you do what you think suits you

accordong to your interest and situations

some one say without going into the the sea no one understand the deepness of water but going into the water without knowing anything make a person fool.

so dear friend u have to understand that problem in ca start when u finished it.

many of student which cleared CA in last three attempt are not getting the job or appointed at a very low package so i advice u not to quit from the job because some where your age factor is come??????????????.

In my opinion Salary Package is not a matter of concern.

Friends,

please don't avoid the fact that pradeep already has MBA Finance qualification. Attaining another degree of CA will no doubt add value to his career.

Always CA+MBA professionals are been awarded with high packages.

Only factor to consider is that will you be able to wait for 4 years and study CA

(Which means Nominal stipend and without salary)

If your family can sustain your decision of doing CA at the cost of JOB then my vote will be in favour of going for CA.

Also I agree with Anushree

Best of Luck

Regards

hey i dont want to get into any further discussion neither i m defending what i said, what i wanted to put across was without trying one cannot call it a quit or with fear of failure one shud not stop from trying.......................sorry if anyone got hurt by my words and what i suppose is he knows all the implications.......................i guess smbdy took it other way round.

bt CA degree is hard to get and once one starts his/her graph as CA it can get stagnated bt it never decreases.so i think he shud follow his heart and v can always help him if faces some hardships.

My suggestion is to go for it(CA) .................
