Coinciding with the start of Diamond Jubilee Celebrations effecting 1st July, 2008, the ICAI will be holding a Diamond Jubilee Conference on the theme “Chartered Accountancy Profession in Retrospect and Prospect” on 2 – 3 July, 2008 at New Delhi. The Conference would see participation by 1500 members of the Indian Chartered Accountants Community including 50 members from SAFA countries and would be addressed by doyens of trade and industry, regulators, representatives of multi-lateral agencies, International Standards setting bodies, and Accounting bodies from SAARC Region. This Diamond Jubilee Conference would be a congregation of ‘who is who’ of accounting profession and corporate world and shall veritably be a unique opportunity to interact with the distinguished resources. It is rarely that such a galaxy of so important dignitaries is available in a particular event and enormity of the event in terms of huge participation level of the fraternity of accountants, industry representatives and other stakeholders is inevitable. It would be Important for membership at large to be a part of the event by registering as a delegate which would accord an opportunity to members to interact with distinguished resources and update themselves in process.
