Depends on the circumstances like what GTA follows reverse charge or forward charge
If reverse charge what is the effect
Services by way of giving on hire to a GTA, a means of transportation of goods are exempt from GST under N.N. 12/2017-Central Tax (Rate), dated 28th June 2017.
If the service is not hire it is normal service
Two rate applies 12% or 5%.
if reverse charge then 5% rate applies and ITC cannot be claimed. receiver pays tax in case if reverse charge.
