Dear Sir/mam,
I am a transport commission agent.
I arrange vehicles from lorry owners attached to me and supply the goods from place A to B. and consignment note issued by me.
The sender of goods pays me the freight agreed. I in turn make the payment to lorry owner against a cut or commission.
Let's say I hired a vehicle for 25000/- from lorry owner and supplies goods for 27000/-. The sender of goods pays me and I pay the Lorry owner. So I earn 2000/- which is my commission income.
My query is whether I will fall under GTA(because consignment note issued by me) or I am a commission agent?
will the 27000/- amount be considered my turnover or not and who is liable to pay GST?

As you issue consignment note and transport goods on hired vehicle, your supplies are under GTA.
