I filed & checked the same.
Confirmed by 2-3 CAs.

2-3 clients told me that he got the amt of late fee in their ledger but i dont check till now.
i fully agree with raja sir. if you have any notification for that then please share with us.
No notification issued for same but nothing is charged by GST deptt while filing return.......
So,
Wait on Further Notification. Then ll be pass it to anothers.
Bcoz, I pass it my Clients then their are call with every Day...
Its a simple concept that when you are filing & no late fee charged for anybody then same is waived.
if the same is waved off then what about other peoples who already pay late fee.
Same will be credited in their ledger but for that i m not confirmed

this late fees case is very critical because every day 200 rs. panelty charged by gst portal so no body wait for wave of those fees so they pay late fee and submit his return asap.
but i would like to inform you if you submit your return not filled only submit then your late fee charge stop from those day.
