NEW DELHI: In an effort to facilitate more businesses and taxpayers, the government on Monday extended the last date for filing the purchase return under the new Goods and Services Tax (GSTR-2) and GSTR-3 (matching of GSTR-1 and GSTR-2) for the month of July.
The Ministry of Finance in a notification said that the deadline for filing July's GSTR-2 has been extended to November 30. And, the last date for filing of GSTR-3 for the month of July has also been extended to December 11, it added. However, the GSTR-1 (sales return) for the same month was filed till October 10.
