GSTIN for Govt. Deductor.

Sir,


With reference to the subject noted above, this is to inform you that a Local Authority (State Govt.) had deducted STDS under West Bengal Value Added Tax Act 2003 from contractor prior to 01.07.2017. As per Memo No- 4406-F(Y) dated 14.07.2017 of  Finance Department has directed to register and obtain GSTIN as a Tax Deductor.


Now, at present no any link is found in the portal www.gst.gov.in to register as a TAX DEDUCTOR rather than Tax Payer and Practitioner option in Registration tab.


Therefore, you are requested to guide, by which GSTIN as a Tax Deductorcan obtain.
