GST Show Cause Notice Clarification

An assessee has received a show cause notice for cancellation of registration. In the said notice the reason is mentioned that, "As per TI report the firm is not existing".

Please explain what is this TI report...

T I means Taxation Inspector of that area, for physical verification he had visited the business place at the address given in RC application and he did not found that firm in existence

As it's not a matter of PAN , because if your Pan is not match with Income tax data it will not allow you to grant Registration.

Hence it's better to visit to your jurisdiction Tax Officer

Yes it's notice for Cancellations of Registration.

The reply for the same to be given in REG 18 , but ,..as there is no clarity in form Reg-17 , you must visit to Department.

Reason Can be :
No sign board at business place .
