Gst - rent on immovable property

An individual getting rent on immovable property , which is below 20 Lakhs. Apart from rent he has no other taxable income except interest on deposits . Tenants are GST registered persons. Whether he is liable to register under GST

no...he is not liable to be registered but if tenant is a registered person, then he has to pay gst on rcm basis....
it should also be noted that in case of rented property is a residential dwelling and is rented for the purpose of residence only, than nobody is liable to pay gst as the same is exempted, irrespective of value.
