Hi,
If a person is engaged in providing exempt services only , then is he liable for GST registration if total turnover crosses Rs 20 lakhs. We provide school bus services , which is exempt services under GST. Our turnover crosses Rs 20 lakhs. Is it compulsory for us to register under GST?

As per section 23 of CGST act, a person engaged exlcusively in the business of supplying goods or services which are not liable to tax or wholly exempt from tax are not reqd to register.
