Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies the Goods and Services Tax (GST) applicable to wheat and soyabean. Generally, if sold in packaged form, both attract a 5% GST. However, loose wheat is typically exempt (nil GST). Branded packaging also leads to taxation. The query also touches upon the tax implications when a dealer purchases soyabean directly from a farmer.

If sold in packaged - wheat & soyabean is 5%
If sold in loose  (wheat), GST is nil

If sold in branded packaging it's taxable.

If the wheat products are packaged and sold in the market then there will be tax I think.  wordle hint

What if soyabean is purchased from farmer by dealer who will sale it to others, is it taxable?
