But one of my Client who had taken general insurance of his motor vehicle presented Bill of Supply instead of Tax invoice then the insurer is saying that he will deduct GSt @ 18% because the Claim invoice was not a TAX invoice and was not in the name of Insurance Company
In case of Vehicle suffered an damage is send to Workshop for repair & the bill raised by work shop is with GST charge therein & the same is submitted to Insurance co. by an insurer. hence the submitted bill by insurer , the GST is already applied therein , no need raise any bill by insurer .
