Gst on food supplied for banquet hall

can we charge for only food @ 5% and banquet 18% seperately

GST ON BANQUET FOOD / HALL CHARGE / EQUIPMENT HIRE OR ANY BUNDLED SERVICES IS 18 %

GST ON RESTAURANT & ROOM SERVICE FOOD WOULD BE  5% (NO INPUT CLAIMED)

THERE IS NO HSN CODE FOR SERVICES. THE BANQUET AND FOOD CHGS HAVING SAC CODE WHICH IS 996334.

Request for some clarity.

For a meeting purpose if hire a meeting hall (non AC ) of Rs.7000 along with LCD Projector  of Rs.1300, then how much GST I should pay to Hotel?

We booked a banquet hall in a hotel for marriage function and there these guys have asked us to pay GST @ 18% and service charge @ 3% in addition to GST . Please let me know if it is legal or not ?. Also these guys told us that if we pay 9% GST these guys will give us the bill for half the amount in that case they toild that we will save around Rs. 10000. what should be done
